Maison Goossens, renowned for its jewelry and decorative pieces, embarked on the modernization of its e-commerce platform to deliver an online experience worthy of its prestigious heritage.
Faced with significant technical challenges, several areas of optimization were identified to enhance performance and enrich user experience.This transformation aimed to maximize the brand’s potential in the e-commerce landscape and align online sales with the success of its physical stores.
The project had then a dual objective: first, to professionalize the technical infrastructure, and second, to design a seamless shopping journey that embodies the brand’s identity while meeting customer expectations.

Challenges – modernizing the platform to reflect luxury positioning and showcase maison goossens’ creations
The project presented both technical and creative challenges. One of the key challenges was to harmonize Maison Goossens’ craftsmanship and excellence with a contemporary and immersive user experience.
Simultaneously, the technical requirements were particularly demanding. To engage a high-end clientele, we needed to develop a flexible yet high-performance solution, offering advanced customization without the constraints of standardized e-commerce templates.
The success of this initiative relied on a seamless synergy between creative and technical teams. Close collaboration was essential to meet functional requirements while reinforcing Maison Goossens’ prestigious brand image.
Our Approach – combining technical expertise and creativity to redefine the shopping experience
To address these challenges, we opted for a headless e-commerce solution, ensuring optimal performance while allowing for a fully customized design.
A multidisciplinary team was assembled, integrating designers (art direction, UX, UI), a technical manager, a functional project manager, as well as front-end and back-end developers.
Throughout the project, we applied an iterative methodology characterized by regular development cycles. This approach enabled us to make rapid adjustments based on feedback from Goossens’ teams.
Our solution – a headless e-commerce platform designed for an enhanced customer experience
From a technical perspective, our solution is built on Shopify, connected to a middleware to ensure seamless integration with the existing information system. Leveraging a headless architecture, we developed a bespoke front-end incorporating advanced features, including the interactive Talismans Goossens. This tool allows customers to visualize and design personalized jewelry, acting as a powerful driver to enrich user engagement and improve conversion rates.
On the creative side, every element was meticulously crafted to reflect Maison Goossens’ elegance and craftsmanship. Just like the brand’s jewelry, known for their intricate layering details, the website was designed with harmoniously interlocking components. Smooth transitions and visual animations were integrated throughout the platform, offering users a fully immersive brand experience while highlighting the uniqueness of its creations.
Results – a revitalized brand image, driving significant online revenue growth and higher conversion rates
This project exemplifies our ability to unify and synchronize various expertise within a single initiative.
